Sparkly delicate bead necklaces are great for wearing alone or for layering with chains and pendants.

Rubies are confusing gemstones, they are formed from Corundum, the same as Sapphires but they contain more Chromium which turns them red. Some say that only true red sapphires are rubies where others term some pink sapphires as rubies, as that gives them a higher value. For me, I'll describe them as they were sold to me. In this case, both these strings of beads were sold as rubies, the tiny gemstones were described as pink sapphires.

These pretty Ruby necklaces demonstrate the range in shades that rubies can be, from pale pink through to dark red. They both have a central silver circles pendants set pendant set with a pale pink or a cerise pink sapphire.

The dark necklace is interspersed with tiny silver beads, the length is 38 to 42cm long using the handmade extension chain.

The pale pink necklace is 43 to 48cm long
