Vesuvianite statement ring

Vesuvianite statement ring
A bold silver ring set with a deep green Rosecut Vesuvianite stone on a bubbles patterned band
Description
It amazes me how many types of gemstone there are and I'm forever coming across something I've never heard of before. Vesuvianite gets its name as some crystals are found near the volcano but it is also called Idocrase (I'd never heard of that either).
This large rose cut (faceted top) stone is a lovely soft but bright olive green, the facets make it sparkle as it catches the light.
The stone is set in a bezel setting on a hammered and drilled bubbles patterned sterling silver 5mm wide ring band.
The ring is a UK size Q.
This is a one of a kind ring but if you'd like something similar please get in touch as I may have other stones you like.
