Description

The beautifully patterned unique Larimar stone in this pendant is a stunner on its own but I think I've enhanced it further by setting it on a beachy textured sterling silver backplate.

Larimar is a rare stone that is only found in Dominican Republic and this is a particularly nice piece with a lovely mottled pattern, reminiscent of tropical seas.

The texture on this piece has been made by fusing silver dust to the hammer textured back plate. This requires a delicate touch with the torch, bringing the silver to almost melting point for the dust to fuse. The dust has been collected from making other pieces on my bench. 

 This rounded corner triangular pendant measures approximately 3.5 cmat the widest point and hangs on a 45cm chain.
