This ring has all the feels of a summer's day at the beach, pretty sparkly seas, frothy waves and patterns in the sand.

The Australian Opal doublet has a lot of gentle colour play with bright green flashes in bright light and a pretty mid blue/green base colour.

I have set it in a bezel setting on a 5mm wide D profile silver band that has been textured with my unique bubbles pattern. I've also added little silver bobbles to one side of the gemstone As well as two small but very sparkly mid blue sapphires.

Opals are a delicate stone so this is not recommended for everyday wear. They can also lose their colour when wet but that should return as they dry. Chemicals and oils can damage them permanently so this is definitely one to take off whilst washing or using hand cream.
