Unique pendant set with with blue Opal, pale turquoise Apatite and pale green Sapphire, with silver granules scattered around the gemstones.
Description
Lately I've been enjoying creating colour combinations with the gemstones in my collection, with this one I picked up on the green tones in the Opal to add a smooth Apatite Cabachon and a sparkly round cut green Sapphire.
The stones are set on an oval back plate, which I've textured on the back with my signature bubbles pattern and the flat parts on the front have been stippled to create a sand like texture. I've added clusters of silver granules around the stones.
The pendant measures just over 3 cm long by long 17 mm wide. The opal is about 15 mm long by 10 mm wide. It is a doublet which means that it has a backing of a base stone to stabilise it and allow it to be set in jewellery.
The pendant hangs from a 45cm fine belcher chain.
